How to opt-out of the Linkedin Social Advertising Program
Linkedin is great, I have had some successes on there but really I should use it an awful lot more.
However I did notice Linkedin has changed members accounts settings (your too – if you have one) . Why you ask? So that your name and face can be used in advertising messages on the Linkedin platform. Really.
That’s right. You, me, everyone, was automatically opted-into their plan for social network advertising.
Look read this:

Anyway, let me explain in the Spiderspun eight-leg plan on how to un-tangle yourself from their ad-trap:
How to opt-out of Linkedin social advertising program
- Log in to Linkedin, err yeah right!
- Choose ‘Settings’.
- Choose ‘Account’.
- Under ‘Privacy controls’, select ‘Manage Social Advertising’.
- Uncheck box ‘LinkedIn may use my name, photo in social advertising’, Phew…!
- Click ‘Save’.
- You now receive a notification ‘You have successfully updated your social advertising settings’.
- Laugh and celebrate.
Hope this helps some people, tootle-pip!

I am really loving the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems? A small number of my blog visitors have complained about my blog not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any solutions to help fix this problem?

Hi Collette – being a web designer I come across browser issues quite often – to help you with them I would need to know your specific problem – drop my an email or phone our office and we’ll have a chat. Glad you love our site – the theme was custom built by us, and we can custom build you a theme too that be cross-browser compatible
